Hahahaha I love the first one.
good stuff. I love how even PA is becoming zealous about the game. You never
see them spitting out more than two or three comics for a specific game.

the problem is, if you go there, youll be tempted to buy but if you can resist the temptation, people are stupid, so you can sell stuff for 10 times what you could sell it to a vendor.

I sold them easy.. I had like 2 auctions of 20 bars at 1g and like 8 or more auctions of 10 ore at 50s. ALL of them sold.

Haha, I still love selling 10 light leathers for 35 silver. It's scary how much people are willing to buy it for...

Eh, Jezta, "Cry 'Havoc!' and let slip the dogs of war" was actually said by Mark Antony after Caesar had been stabbed by the conspirators. Caesar was very much stone dead and unable to speak at that point.

Meh, I got it from Rome: Total War, and I assumed it was a good source, considering I also looked it up on Google. But hey, I'll double-check, it's not like I have anything better to do. *shrug*

edit: Upon actually getting my lazy ass up and re-reading Julius Caesar for myself, I found it is indeed Mark Anthony. Whoops.

i think the general consensus is that stuff on the AH should be sold for no less than 5 times what its really worth. seriously, people are so fuggin greedy, and the buying populace is so damn desperate that they get away with it.

i was told that i should start saving up for my mount at 38, i started at 37... ahem. i got it last night at 43. so yes, do start saving at 30, if you can at all. oddly, i went from 1 gold 50 silver post mount purchase to about 5 gold by the time i logged off. then i messed about today, bought a skill for 2 gold 43 silver, and i'm already at 8 gold. i think it's time i finally up and became an artisan miner. >_<

and yes, the auction house is indeed your bestest of best friends during this desperation. damned paladins and warlocks, how i hate you even more!!!

on that note, i still hold that paladins and warlocks should have to buy a mount and training in riding it before recieving that quest. i say this not only because i had to make money and that they should too. but so that a dwarf paladin could ride a armored sheep. or a orc warlock would be on a flame-footed wolf of sheer blackness. sure, it'd be more models blizzard would have to create. but whatever, your animations are all already there for it! and so ends my rant on class specific mounts.

I started saving at level 2 (went a little crazy with those refreshing spring waters at level 1) and ended up having about 130g by level 40. It seems to rain gold post level 40. I've gone from 200g to 50g twice and gotten back to 200g within a few levels. I just recently went down to 10g and am now back at 150g on hand, and about 200g in items in the bank. All within 2 levels. But then again, all I do is grind.

Light leather for 35s?!? Good lord! I swear that Silver Hand is way behind in the price-jacking. I can't even auction off 20 Medium leather for more than 15s. Bloody 'ell!

20 medium? That'll get me 1g on Shadowsong on a good day, 50s on a bad.
The best part about it is even if no one buys it and you set it for 24 hours, after you get it back you can sell it to a vendor and make the deposit back, plus some. You can't lose.

heh, I just realized 8-bit Theater has done a couple WoW comics, too.

The first one isn't really about WoW, but it's got the quick mount joke in there that I find humorous Not sure if there are any other WoW-related strips or not.

Thats because skinning/leatherworking is kinda messed up. With higher leatherworking you still need light leather for a bunch of stuff, but with higher skinning you barely ever get those. Pain in the ass for all the leatherworkers, myself included.

Yes, I learned this in beta and realized I could never ever do leatherworking in retail.
