Hey guys, it's been a long time since I posted. Don't worry I'm not inactive, just active in other things, i'll post about it in general in a bit. So about this economy thing, it seems a cool endeavor IF money is worth anything. In Diablo2 it isn't but I think they're trying to fix this in WoW. The main thing for us as a group is if we can buy a clan hall or castle or some such cool property. If so, then we need to make as much money as possible - probably by adventuring alot, but maybe from selling items, who knows. Mostly, I figure we'll just make items for our clan use. Also, in Blizzard's big city update they mentioned nothing about owning land, so it seems unlikely. Who knows. I think we need to worry about kicking ass. And as a group too.

Well, for me, it kinda depends how enjoyable/profitable crafting is in the game heh. Since it's Blizzard.. I'm sure they'll make it worthwhile at least.

I definatley think that would be a good idea. If we can buy things as a clan(such as castles like S&S mentioned) it would be to our advantage to assign different tasks to everyone, just so we don't all choose the same task.

i think that if we do get into crafting, which i enjoy in MMO games, we should structure it like this:

each player who acquires items should first find if anyone in the guild needs said items. this way the crafters always have items to help them churn stuff out and raise their crafting skill. in so, if an enemie drops some plant matter that is sued in alchemy and cooking the clan member should save the item and turn it in to the guild. granted, inventory space is at a permium, so they may feel the need to drop it if something better comes their way. but if we have parties that go out to collect an item, not only can we dominate the market on that item (and it's price if we can sell to other players through a bazaar or auction house system (sorry too much ffxi)) but we can dominate the crafted items made from such drops.

now, thinking on this, i do think that we should finalize (as much as everyone would loath to do so) an allegiance. horde or alliance, not both. both will get too complicated i fear. and i think that if you don't want to deal with a single unified "can work with each other force" then this is not the clan for you. unfortunatley, i can't fully say that as i am not in charge of this clan.

but with experience from other mmorpgs (sw:g and ffxi) i can say that a single force will work easier than a split force. 'specially at an earlier level. hell, it may even be fun to gather the entire WDP together on a saturday and try to storm a city of the opposing side. perhaps an attemt to breach their city. since they mentioned the npcs attacking any opposite alliance in sight... perhaps we can swell up and swarm them out. could be fun... but would only work with a single unified force. some thing that should be taken into consideration before we have a two force free for all, that will probably end up spliting...
