When me and bro-man started the warock we went tailoring-mining. Tailoring helps out cause it's essential since some of the stuff you can make is badass. And mining cause it offsets the cost of buying core-of-earth, ssence of fire/water/earth/wind for some of the stuff.

If you're gonna enchant, use tailoring. More greens to enchant, less materials required.

Affliction Mastery

Amplify Curse Rank 1 Insta cast that increases CoA by 50%
Grim Reach Rank 2 Increases Affliction range by 20%
Nightfall Rank 1 2% chance for an insta cast Shadowbolt
Affliction Total: 18

Demonology Mastery
Improved Healthstone Rank 2 Healthstone restore by 20%
Improved Imp Rank 3 Make Imp stronger
Demonic Embrace Rank 5 15% more Stamina
Fel Intellect Rank 5 15% increase in pet mana
Improved Succubus Rank 3 Makes the Succubus 15% more effective
Fel Domination Rank 1 Insta cast reduces summon time by 4.5
Fel Stamina Rank 5 15% Pet health bonus
Master Summoner Rank 2 Reduce summon time by 4 seconds
Demonic Sacrifice Rank 1 Needed for Soul Link
Unholy Power Rank 5 20% Pet damage bonus
Soul Link Rank 1 Splits damage taken with the Pet
Demonology Total: 33
Total
Total Points Spent: 51
Level Required: 60

That's what My talent spec would end up as if I max out Draz. most people will tell you that you should ignore your pets and focus on Affliiction/Destruction. While the Mana Drain for allfiction is good, and Conflagrate is Ok, the Soul Link makes you absurdly hard to kill in PVP since the enemy uddenly has to do two times more damage then they thought. The sacrifice is disliked but if you can get a Shadow Trance sac the succubus cast the Shadow Bolt and Master summon her back.

Another popular move is Succubus seduce hit the enemy with Curse of Elements then Soul Fire doing an insane amount of damage in roughly 10 seconds.

Eh. For PVP, I've noticed alot of Warlocks go for mostly Imp spec, which is pretty effective. Not sure how it would do in PVE.

Succubus and Voidwalker mostly for PVE since an Imp draws way way to much aggro if used like in PVP.

Imps can do an absurd damage amount when it's skills and abilities have been planned out accordingly, but since they have such low HP and def most people tend to shy away for the big meaty Voidwalker. But since in almost all PVP encounters the enemy goes right after the Warlock allowing the IMP to do more damage then the Warlock would using only searing Pain.

im not taking almost any Demonology ... in later lvls and generally i go with other people ... hence I would rather go for Destruction.

You should still consider buffing your imp. It's a good friend in grouping, with
his stamina boosting and fire shielding. Feels sexy to have constant boost of
hp.

If you're planning on enchanting, also consider tailoring. Tailoring materials don't have to really be harvested and drop rather commonly off mobs, and a bunch of tailoring items are Uncommon quality (green named items) that can be disenchanted for enchanting supplies.

Tailoring has lots of Green to make since they need the stat boosts to make up for wearing cloth as armor. You'll also get your first blue item around your third area but it requires absurd materials to make.

It takes

2x Bolt of Silk Cloth
4x Medium Leather
4x Spider's Silk
2x Iridescent Pearl

yeah ... now i got Tailoring and Enchanting ... think i should have saved some greens from the beginning and gone skinning a bit longer to get more money etc and save up ... but i think i did well.

As this is a Warlock thread I guess I migth post my question here its about Warlock's pets?

I have NE female Rouge as main character

but I wanted a second character to play when I dont have that much time to play so I created myself an Undead Warlock(which is at the moment lv16) and I have ofcourse learned myslef the Imp and Voidwalker pet spells....

But where does one learn the Succubus spell...???
Is it a quest that becomes avaiable once one reached a certain level ,like the earlier two Imp and Voidwalker was bot warlock quest specfic so I guess the Succubus is the same but where can one go to get a quest to aquire the Succubus a pet you who knows?

And another question which is the pet you warlocks use the most of these which is the best of them I do now they have diffrent function like the Imp range attacks,Voidwalker main use is defense and I guess the Succubus is Melee then?

But which do you use the most...

I myself as said only have the imp and the voidwalker and I use the voidwalker the most of those two....
Thougth the imp has more spells at the moment I use the voidwalker as he gets close into battle meanwhile myself stay at a distance and uses my spells...

If I use the imp as also uses ranged spells I always get my enemies into close combat which is bad for my warlock so therfore I use the voidwalker as he keeps my enemies at a distance meanwhile I throw spells at them...

But as I guess the Succubus is even better in melee combat then the voidwalker????

The succu for me now seems very useless atm ... i jsut got it ... but i use the VW when i single and imp when fighting pvp or inparty. this is my uber warlock build ... i would really like comments

I focus on party play ... so that would be imp and destruction ... but shadow trance is nice.

That's actually not as party-oriented as an affliction/demonology specializtion could be. The Warlock's destruction tree is definately most useful for PvP and I might use it wne battlegrounds come out, but for now all I do is run high-end instances. You're definately going to want improved healthstone because everyone always asks me for one. At level 60, a normal healthstone heals 900 damage while one with maxed improved healthstone heals 1440. Big difference. You might want ot get that as well as the Siphon Life spell on the affliction tree, it adds a little more damage and gives you life although I admit it could do a little more damage.

All about the succubus or the felhunter. Succubus for small scale pvp, felhunter for large scale.

Or just get Stamina gear and get Soul Link. With a Voidwalker out at level 60 you'll essentially have like 10000 Health. You become nigh-indestructable.

Mailpouch on Burning Legion

Planning on starting a Warlock for my PVE character (rather than my warrior->pvp and my pally->messing around char.)

Heres the build I plan to use for MC/Ony/BWL

Minimum Required Level: 60
Required Talent Points: 51
Affliction Talents - 30 points

Suppression - rank 5/5
Improved Life Tap - rank 2/2
Improved Life Drain - rank 3/5
Fel Concentration - rank 5/5
Amplify Curse - rank 1/1
Grim Reach - rank 2/2
Nightfall - rank 2/2
Improved Drain Mana - rank 2/2
Siphon Life - rank 1/1
Curse of Exhaustion - rank 1/1
Improved Curse of Exhaustion - rank 1/4

Shadow Mastery - rank 5/5

Destruction Talents - 21 points

Improved Shadow Bolt - rank 5/5
Cataclysm - rank 3/5
Bane - rank 5/5
Devastation - rank 5/5
Destructive Reach - rank 2/2
Ruin - rank 1/1

I believe this is rather typical, any suggestions or ideas on this would be very helpful.
