It would interfer with gameplay. Maybe it could be a cheat code!

I do not like a fixed camera the best would be if you were able to see the map from 4 angles 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees.

I got to admit, that other camera view looked pretty sweet. I wish they could put it back to that without it interfering with the gameplay.

Read the blizzard FAQ: what if a player turns his camera 180 degrees in a multiplayer game, then his ally, preparing a secret attack tells him to go up/north and the guy sends his units the wrong way.
That's when I thought: Why couldn't they just put a compass in a corner of the screen? But then again BKB

I think the fixed angle is a good idea, becuase there will no more advatange that a newbie will not have, personally i would like ot be able to zoom though.

Yah complete 3-d movement could get disorienting during gameplay, but they should have a spectater mode where you can do that.
remember- bkb

Will resolution affect the zoom stuff do yah think? or is it gonna be fixed?

I personally would prefer fixed camera, but it would be nice to have the option. They should make it an option in the options menu. Wow I overused the word option huh.

Speaking of resolution, does anyone know what resolution the game will be in?

It's blizzard knows best.
I have played ground control and it's easy to control the camera and know which direction is which and it was easy to learn.

Is camera control that hard people?...if so your the newbie. I think it would make it a thousand times cooler to be able to watch your spell slam into the enemy from behind him!!!

Exactly, it gets super annoying after a while. But, it is very nice to have to watch things from behind as someone said, and that kinda stuff. So I think it should be an option. With fixed camera it is much easier to follow your units around and stuff. I think that it should be fixed, but rotatable. Actually, there should be many different options like: 1 - Completely fixed, like in SC 2 - Just rotatable 3 - Just able to zoom 4 - Rotatable, and zoom. Maybe some others too, but I definitely think they should make it an option.

I don't think they should make the option of the B&W type camera movment, because it is annoying and tedious to have to grab the land and stuff. Unless you set waypoints, you can never get around. 'Course in the game you can probly make waypoints, but still.

And, I'll ask again, does anyone know what resolution the game will be in?

Yeah, and what is BKB?

well if you can move the camera angles then would the mini map move too, else that would be really confusing if you were at the opposite angle then the mini map. also zooming feature would be cool but then the detail may get worse, so I think this is just one thing we could do without for now.

The mini map will most likely sat in place no matter what the camera does.

Well with the minimap, I don't think that would be very useful.
