It would be nice if there was a single "upgrade magic users max mana" type upgrade, rather than having to research a separate one for each different type of unit.

They could make it in different stages, just like researching weapon damage or armor defense. Similarly, it could also add different amounts to differing units. This way each magic using unit could recive appropriate amounts (for example, a Priest may only get 5, 10, and 15 more mana at each researched level, but the Archmage could get 10, 20, and 30).

We know that Bliz is trying to reduce the number of buildings needed. With fewer buildings, some of the research option screens might be a bit crowded, and having one max mana research option would help free things up (as opposed to having one for each mage class).
