kiethjr. has talked about making us a political party in WoW, imposing a certain structure on the world. He also wants to include enough people into the clan to allow this to happen. I'd like to know
1.what specifically is this planned structure?
2.how would we carry this out?
3.What guidelines will there be in adding total strangers to our party?
4.how do other members feel about all this?

Is this something to discuss? or is it decided?

If it to talk about then for the people anyone should be allowed in until the game comes out in wich case idont know anyone is still allowed in unless they break some rule.

The others i have no clue... but we need it.

Right now, we do have almost 40 members, and the game is not yet out. I think if we market ourselves properly on all of the gaming sites, than we will have an easy time to get more members.

The structure of our "party" is what it is now, almost communism in its pure form. We have the head leader of the group, who makes all of the ultimate decisions. Under him we have the council members, who aid him in other functions, and have power too, but not more than the head.
There is no voting for offices. When gunny decides to leave, he chooses a new emperor, and the new emperor has complete say so. Council members can be removed from the council by gunny only. See you can express your disapproval with people to gunny, but it will be his decision to make, and it will be law.
If you also look to our structure of our party, we have other hints of communism - the way we work and get money. We expect everyone to give all to WDP, keeping some for theirselves in order to better their getting us more money/items.... and you will be rewarded for your duties. If everyone does their part, everyone will be equally rewarded. One person who gets all the items deserves them as much as the guy who builds our castles, the people who make our food, the people who make our clothing, etc. There is no 1 better than the other, if we all do our part.
Now everyone says, "communism is bad." It is bad when you have a dictator in power. As long as the "emperor" does not let the power go to his head, and start being unfair, the WDP will fail like the rest. It is our job to keep it straight, and all will prosper from it.
For guidelines to add people into our party, we would allow anyone in. If you do your part and contribute, then you will be accepted. If you disobey our laws, or do not do your part, then you will be punished, and even exiled from the WDP. If you show your loyalty and dedication, then you will be duly rewarded. If we feel that someone is not suit for the WDP, we will give them compensation for their troubles, and send them on their way. What that compensation is, is up to each case. Sometimes the compensation goes the other way, if it is more hassle on us to keep certain members than to throw them to the streets.
All in all, I feel that the WDP can accomplish this, with the right people in power. Not just people who have ideas, or who are friends, but people who can carry out what they are asked, to lead people, to ensure our vision. I feel that we do have the people to get this party off the ground, but as we grow, we will each need to have our own advisors. These will be determined as the time comes, but we do need people with strong heads in the right places.
More later

I guess what I was really after is how are we going to dominate people who aren't in our clan?

if we have control over each of the worlds like we are planning, people are going to want to join with us. we have to give people a reason to want to be in our party. thats with the marketing of us before the game comes out... to state our purposes and everything.

We might just have to start out being the rulers of 1 continent, say azeroth, and we will branch out from there.... we cant take the whole world at once, gotta take a bit and let everyone else want us all over

But we better keep small outposts in the other lands too. Like I plan to have a secondary character in Dun Morogh just to make sure things there are good.

But the thing is, some people - a lot actually are never going to want to join us, especially with our like 90% tax, and 0% rights. So far our only punishment is expulsion from the clan, but for most people, they won't be in the clan anyways.
I think we should get straight what the benefits of joining are, and list them when we market the clan.
I also think we need to come up with other punishments for non members to keep them in line, and truly dominate WoW.

woah woah, who said 0% rights?

and im not planning on haveing equal rewards so its not exactly communism, ill give people a little more as they advance in rank. and i doubt i would need a permanent 90% tax... maybe if there was some kind of emergency. dont worry, ill have our economy charted eventualy. then we can poke at it.

Well i actually support a huge tax at first till we can buy a guildhall. But, once we've bought enough buildings (if we ever do depending on our plans) then I'd like to see the system change so that individuals only give money when there's a special need. I'd also like to see more things we can vote on. Just my opinion.

As for dominating non-members, what are some suggestions? First of all there's death with whatever penalties are attached with that.

Second we could refuse them services such as selling goods or entering tournaments.

We could chase them out of town, and keep a shitlist of all offending player accounts.

Any other ideas?

I might b bringing in a little democracy here, but Maybe the ambassadors or somthing could be part of a "Grand Council", thta when decisions are needed and the Emperor is notaround to answere them, could vote on the best corse of action. And if the Emperor ever decides to highly abuse his powers for the bad of the clan or such, could gather and impeach his ass. No offense, Gunny.
