thank you Kegel and Grunt for getting back on topic. Kegel, what's this new forum? I've branched out a bit too. Carmius, sorry to say it, but I'm over 7000 now on my MP3's.

School's still a mess for me.... speaking of which I have papers to write, and somehow, one of my best sketchbooks disappeared. I'll have to go hunting for it later... Maybe it's in the car..

I hate having to organize so much mess in my apartment, and on this computer... I have the hardest time finding anything.

The whole point you all choose to blatantly ignore is that even though I cannot prove the non-existance of some all-powerful entity, there is no reason at all that I should, because the assumption that it would exist is based on nothing and therefore all believers are very very wrong in thinking it is our, ie. the atheists that seek to make a proper argumentation for their criticizing religion, job to disprove something that is ridiculous in the very basics. Btw, the people I am discussing this with are what Bakoenin would call 'too sick to discuss with' as they just ignore all logic and just keep saying "you can't prove us wrong" and don't put any effort in making a nice logical story.

Indeed, you all may believe what you want, but when you use it to oppress people or fight ridiculous holy wars, or choose to bother me or society with nonsensical theories and laws based on the bible (a book which has reasonings just as stable as quicksand, "yeah great let's all build our houses on quicksand") I think it fully is my right to say that it is all very unlikely to say the least. It also is Av's right to say those things, even though he isn't very subtle in his words. Also, not all religious people should die or be hated, as many are very nice or very smart, but they all have one flaw in their logic. I can live with that flaw, but they shouldn't bother me with it or try to build societies on it.

Goodnight.

The new forum is for a surf shop at a beach I go to. It's pretty small compared to this one but it's got some cool people on it.

And Grunt, I love you like an obese man loves angioplasty But you're right, I can never stop checking this forum.

I had to google that . Curse me and my non-fat-people-related-vocabulary!

Or it's a matter of accepting that not everything is about right and wrong?

GRUNT- Yeah that was a joke based off a saturday night live skit where they had these really fat ladies who had a cooking show (the made foods like rice cakes made of bacon grease, and they were like "why bother chewing?" and injected melted butter right into their arms) and the ladies were like "Here's to angioplasty!" as a toast as they drank melted butter

I'm hot on yer tail! Just passed 6400! Just got in a big shipment of Cat Power, The Willowz, Ben Harper and The Zombies.

I've also found new forums to attend. One's a fan artist's forum for a fantasy series I read, the other's a movie forum for one of the larger movie sites, though I'm more of a lurker there. I'll come back and check this one once every one or two days.

yall post links to where you've branched out. Yesterday someone named Lone gunman posted on www.conceptart.org forums. Don't know if it was him though.

And Cat Power was a big let down for me, after hearing her two best songs from one album, "You Are Free". All her other CD's are so damn slow!!! So is Hayden, but I've found 4 hits from them so far. Is that live album of theirs any good? good quality?

Over at MIT radio, there's a morning show called Breakfast of Champions. I emailed the DJ there the other day for some new band suggestions. I'll update on that when I have time to.

Hayden Desser ('tis a singer songwriter) is probably one of my favourite musicians. His music is for the most part slower, but I just love his style of ballads. Having listened to even more of his stuff since I last recommended him, I would have to suggest more his Skyscraper National Park album. It probably has the best selection of his songs on it like Streetcar, Dynamite Walls, I Should've Been Watching You, Bass Song (awesome), Carried Away (though I prefer the live version) and Lullaby.

As for the live album, being a singer songwriter, he doesn't bring anyone else with him (save for some string parts accompanying him), so at first it's hard to digest, but I soon began to really appreciate the translation to live. Like the Bass Song, which is has quite a few instruments playing it in the studio version, is done all on piano in the Live show. I think it's kinda like listening to the White Stripes live. It's different, but you have to appreciate how they mix down all those parts into just drums and another instrument.
