psionic storm=death to most human armies. Fighting ANY humans with protoss I'd say get at least two high templar with psionic storm. They decimate infantry, they own tanks, and they cripple marauders. Coupled with force field you can actually trap them IN a psionic storm, and just kill whole damn army. And since mass marines is such a popular strategy, templars are just ownage.

AND feedback works on Almost All of their Air units. The only unit it doesn't work on is the viking, and those are easily countered by stalkers.

Therefore, you still have to worry about reapers and ghosts.



It hurts zerg sure, but they have SO many units in the first place that it really doesn't matter. Protoss shrug off psionic storms. But it pwns terrans.

true! emp owns protoss pretty bad.



man, reapers are the pwn. i've fought them back quite a bit lately, but haven't tried them until recently. Protoss really can't beat reapers. A few reapers can fire and run fire and run to kill an endless army of zealots. By that time they might have A FEW stalkers, but a few reapers can kill a few stalkers. Especially if you get them apart, which they'll have to be in order to guard their probes and their structures.

I want to arrange a team of 4 terrans and rush when everyone has 5 reapers ready to go.


Ever try fuckin, fungal growth? Or the INFESTOR unit in general? It seems like that unit is pretty unbalanced, as in COMPLETELY USELESS.

I've actually gotten a lot of mileage out of putting a few Infestors in my Roach raiding parties. Fungal Growth means workers can't run away or other units can't come to assist, and you can spam an awful lot of Infested Terrans for cheap that make a decent distraction/anti-air assist/meatwall. Haven't gotten a lot of mileage out of Neural Parasite because it's so expensive, but the rare cases I've gotten to use it have been awesome, because it works on anything. I haven't tried this, but can anyone confirm if it even works on the Mothership?

I do really miss Lurkers, though. They were my favorite Zerg unit.

Reapers are good, but they absolutely REQUIRE great micro skills and the Nitro Packs upgrade to completely ream anyone who is at all expecting the possibility of them, because they're apparently made of wet cardboard. I'm working on faster/more effective Reaper rushes myself, cause I just love em both in practice and in concept.

The best use for Fungal Growth that I've found is to hit void rays, then run out of their range so they lose their charge. Makes killing them much easier.
