i'm undecided on this matter. Both sides present very solid arguments, a replay of the 2 strategies facing off would be my judge.

What do you mean 'two strategies'? As far as I'm concerned, there's only 1 strategy being talked about here, and that's the use of stasis traps. I'm simply saying how it might not be so effective.

Anyways, Zak, I can't play remember? However, I can hopefully get my comp fixed by today, so stay tuned .

What's theory craft? .

Oh and btw, I just played a game against blade (but we both played like shit, so it wasn't that great). HOwever, in this epic battle, I managed to sneak a stasis ward in the middle of battle and after I got my lvl 6 BM to the heart of his army it went off, followed by bladestorm! It was so cool! His guys couldn't move and they had to take all 770 damage that my bladestorm did zOOt!

Although, that was pretty much the ONLY time that spell was useful! All he other times, he moved his army out of the traps' range as soon as I planted them >=(.

True, they can run away but if they do, they as soon as they should return to the area they would get stunned with all the traps there ready to go off, so its kind od blocked for them. That and really good dispelling are the only counters I can think of for it though, and it makes a great delat for them . Its not perfect, but if they cant run it can be rather powerful.

BTW, theorycraft is just talking about war3 but being unable t test anything that you say. Its rather pointless, seeing as half the stuff or more would ussually never happen in a game, but its funnyy.

If blizzard wanted to make the traps more cost-effective, they should decrease the time until it becomes 'armed'. The enemy has waaaaaaaaaaay too much time to run away or to destroy it! It's not really effective in battle .

BWT, to use stun wards you want a wall of GRUNTS(funny you didnt use at all ) in front of them so the enemy has to run around to get at them, and generally place wards in protected areas that are hard to reach or see.
