Shapeshifts are separated into 4 different abilities which are added to your Spellbook as you level it.

So you get newer morphs but keep your older ones in case you need their special properties (panther high speed/windwalk, spider slow, bear roar/HoT)

Might alter this later but not necessarily likely...

Shapeshifting is generally taxing and requires large amounts of mana (150, 325, 650, 1000 as levels go). The life of the druid is proportionally carried over, so you don't get any cheesy-cheap healing or unfair crippling. Also, you can't keep shapeshifting back and forth at the same level as the cooldowns of the spells start at 45 seconds and reach over 200 for the uber-badass 4th-stage Planar Shapeshift.

Being a Frostsabre Tiger is a hella lot of fun though. Especially as you run at nearly 150% of normal speed, have really high stats, and a number of spells.

And Planar Shapeshift is just plain excellent.

Ah, another little addition.

I figured out how to add particle effects to weapons...

So here we have a Paladin with a pair of Frost Swords. There's also fire, chaos, etc.

Here we got the Undead capital of Encalidan-Arach, happily adorned with multiple corpses and dismembered bodies, with an Undead Dark Ranger in the middle carrying a sword that has a very cool green particle cloud that for some f*cking g@y $@^% lame %^# reason does not show up in screens. Anyhow, there's one or two reskinned Ghouls in the screen, don't know how well you can see them, that now have cadaverous-blue skin and creepy red eyes...

Hey, does the Dark Ranger ever lose the bow .

...also, I just remembered a question I had for you. The attack animation of the heores, it would be wierd for the Paladin to do a two handed strike with a sheild in one hand .

They'll switch bows from kickass to more kickass.


And the paladin with a shield looks a little odd but nothing horrible. Hell, the paladin is just strange whatever he does, dual wield, single two-handed weapon (except for that damn tailor-made hammer), whatever. It's not a killer though. Comic relief, let's say.

Blue, I just have to say that everything that you've done looks awesome. Even if I actually knew what I was doing with the WE, I still couldn't do what you have done. I was wondering if there was any way to remove that tome that the paladin is holding. In one of the paladin shots he was holding two weapons but he was also still holding that tome. I was just curious. Once again great job!

As long as I can kick that fuggin' glaive out, I expect to let her have most bladed weapons but restrict against two handed... Dual Wield power!

Blink, unfortunately, can't be left in as there's just way too many exploits possible with it... I do plan to give her increased running speed through and ability of some sort...

And the Pits of Pain are probably the nastiest place possible... well, you get to see villagers burned, anyhow...

in the "pits of pain" yuo should make a small path, and if you step off it you die rapidly. Just like mzae of death if you played it, i dunno if you already did this, I just thought it would be neat

Perhaps a part of it...

Anyway, one more screen. This is Delmandior the Blood Mage giving you a quest to bring him some spell components... As a reward you get a Healing Potion, 100 gold/player in party, and up to 500 xp/player. "up to 500 xp" refers to that XP is scaled to bash down power levelers... The highest person in the group/party gets 500 xp, all others proportional xp.

Such as:

LVL 12 (highest) - 500 xp
LVL 9 (9/12*xp) - 375 xp
LVL 2 - about 80 xp.

or LVL 3 (highest) - 500 xp
LVL 2 (2/3*xp) - 334 xp

Caster weapons somewhat depend.

Mages get staves and daggers, maybe a couple other weapons, exotics...

Clerics (not paladins, paladins can use everything minus claws) can use blunts such as warhammers & maces (damnit, I need a mace model), all the base mage weapons, polearms such as halberds and spears.

Druids get all mage weapons plus blunts. Maybe not warhammers though...

Shaman can have staves or any other weapon minus polearms and swords. Oh, and they get claws.

So far I've been doing more of the warriors and creating areas...
but rest assured that a mage will never ever wield a two-handed demon sword from the pits of hell.

As for other classes, rogues/thieves will probably be disallowed heavy polearms but wield most anything else, especially daggers, and claws.

Warriors can use everything, period.
